nature journaling

Here are some of my nature journaling pages.  I usually just write about what I see on our trip a long the way and then look up facts and thats what I write about.

I am now working on a report about Sacagawea.  I really like reading about her and what she did back then.

What do you think about the trip so far...

5 months into the trip-

I think the trip is a lot of fun so far because of all the friends we get to make on land and on the other boats.  I have made a lot of new friends like, Gracie and billy on Seahorse 5, Jacyntha on Apropo, Annakenna on Pelagic and then on land I have met Eden, Gwen, Annaka and then I get to play with a lot of the local kids that are hanging around in the water.  I met a puppy named miro and Tiggins.  

It is also really fun because I get to swim a lot and snorkel a lot.  When we get to snorkel we get see a lot of different kinds of fish and coral.  I really like to see the puffer fish in the water they are so cute.  I also like the parrot fish, angel fish and sargent majors.  

I like to go into the towns and hopefully get some internet so I can play games and watch movies.  I also like to go to towns because I like to get the food at the OXXO and little treats.  I love getting ice cream and playing with all the animals that are running around.  

Some of the things that I don’t like are all the waves and getting sea sick.  I don’t like having to do school.  I also don’t like having to leave the boat when I don’t feel like it.  Sometimes I just want to read my kindle and mom or dad makes me go play on the beach for exercise.  Once I get there I have fun but I really like reading and sometimes just want to read my kindle.  

One of my favorite memories so far is swimming with the sea lions in the Sea of Cortez.  I loved how everyone was really calm and we could just swim with them and they would play with our fins.

This trip so far has been really fun in everything I get to see and the places I get to go.  I would definitely tell anyone to do it if they can.
